An 'ordinary' Dutch Oven is of course already a very versatile pan. However, this VH9L adds to that. Its oval shape gives it a slightly larger capacity, although you can still place it in an oven or barbecue with ease. Because it has a flat bottom, using it in an oven or barbecue is only easier. You can use the Dutch Oven like any other Dutch oven for the most diverse dishes such as delicious stews or baking fresh breads. But an extra compared to the normal Dutch Oven, is that this lid has a grill pattern at the bottom. Conversely, you can therefore use the lid as a grill plate for your steak or vegetables. Cast iron has many advantages. For example, cast iron can be heated very high and hold this heat well.
